About The Position

CVS Health’s Retail Operations Strategy Corporate Internship is a 10.5-week, full-time graduate internship running from May 24, 2027, through August 4, 2027. The role is hybrid, with three days generally spent at the Woonsocket, Rhode Island office (Tuesday through Thursday) and two days working remotely from home, the office, or another location of the intern’s choice. Interns work 40 hours per week at $55 per hour. The schedule includes the July 4 company holiday off and two days of paid leave. Retail Operations acts as an internal consulting team, bringing strategy to life across the front store, pharmacy, and customer experience. The team works to make quality care more accessible, easier to use, and more patient-focused. Its work includes implementing systems with store teams, launching services through internal and external partnerships, and combining data with human-centered research to improve workflows and reduce barriers to care. Interns contribute to business projects and participate in community service, professional development workshops, mentorship and networking opportunities, and interactions with senior leaders. Past projects have included testing free home delivery for out-of-stock medications, researching the business impact of COVID-19, analyzing prescriber data for anomalies, prototyping a virtual pharmacy verification system, and developing strategies to address colleague pain points. Corporate interns have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a future CVS Health role. The internship is intended for graduate students pursuing an MBA, MPH, MHA, MSBA, or another related master’s degree, with an anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and August 2028. Work visa sponsorship is unavailable, including for CPT, OPT, and F-1 visa programs.
