About The Position

Houlihan Lokey is hiring a 2028 Summer Financial Analyst for its Primary Capital Advisory (PCA) group in New York. PCA is part of the firm’s Capital Solutions Group and works in third-party fund placement and advisory. The team has over 40 people across eight offices in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East and has collectively worked on more than 300 fundraises since 2010 across a wide range of private equity fundraisings. The broader Capital Solutions team advises across private and public markets, including Credit Solutions and Market Advisory, Equity Capital Solutions, GP Advisory, and Primary Capital Advisory. The ideal candidate has a strong academic record, exceptional attention to detail, and genuine interest in private market fundraising and capital advisory. The role calls for analytical and quantitative skills, strong communication and presentation abilities, initiative, organization, and the ability to collaborate in a close-knit team while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
Demonstrated interest in investment banking, private equity, or financial advisory through internships or coursework.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities and a polished, professional presentation style.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in work products.
Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a close-knit team.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
