About The Position
The Summer Financial Analyst will work alongside Houlihan Lokey’s General Partner Advisory team on transactions involving private equity clients and a range of investment banking services, including sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic consulting. The role supports the team’s work advising private capital firms on firm-level initiatives such as minority stake sales, majority sales, firm-level financings, and NAV loans.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
- Basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including Excel.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.
Responsibilities
- Support the build-out of financial models.
- Prepare client deliverables, including confidential information memorandums.
- Collect and analyze market research.
