About The Position

Houlihan Lokey is hiring a Summer Financial Analyst for its Primary Capital Advisory (PCA) team in New York. PCA is part of the firm’s Capital Solutions Group and advises clients on third-party fund placement and fundraising across private equity and other private-market strategies. The group has more than 40 professionals across eight offices in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East and has worked on more than 300 fundraises since 2010. PCA works alongside the broader Capital Solutions team, which offers advisory services across private and public markets. The ideal candidate has a strong academic record, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine interest in private-market fundraising and capital advisory. The role calls for analytical ability, clear communication, initiative, organization, and the ability to collaborate within a close-knit team while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, with an expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
Demonstrated interest in investment banking, private equity, or financial advisory through internships or coursework.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a polished, professional presentation style.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a close-knit team.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
