About The Position

Summer Financial Analysts in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring business work on a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings, liability management, capital solutions, and distressed M&A. The role offers exposure to financial advisory and investment banking products and industries, including in- and out-of-court restructurings, debt and equity financings, exchange offers and tenders, distressed M&A advisory services, and special situations transactions. The group’s aggressive, entrepreneurial environment gives Summer Financial Analysts substantial responsibility.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Coursework in accounting and finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
• Strong analytical abilities and computer skills, including Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities
