2028 Summer Financial Analyst - General Partner Advisory (Class of 2029) - New York
About The Position
The Summer Financial Analyst will work alongside Houlihan Lokey’s General Partner Advisory team on transactions involving private capital clients and gain exposure to investment banking services, including sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic consulting. The role supports financial modeling, preparation of client deliverables, and market research. The position is part of the Capital Solutions Group, whose General Partner Advisory team advises private capital firms on firm-level initiatives such as minority stake sales, majority sales, firm-level financings, and NAV loans.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
- Basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including Excel.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.
