About The Position

Legends Global is hiring a part-time, event-related Suite Attendant at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The position provides catering service for suites and luxury boxes to support customer satisfaction and retention. The attendant follows event instructions, prepares and sets up service items, serves guests courteously, and cleans and stores equipment after events. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and may involve working inside or outside the building, depending on event needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of work experience in a service-oriented environment.
Ability to follow directions and perform assigned work effectively.
Pleasant personality and neat appearance.
Positive, customer-service-oriented attitude.
Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
Work ethic that supports urgency and quality in a team environment.
Ability to work with other facility staff.
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to move around the facility and stand for long periods during events.
Ability to stoop and lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Arrive at the scheduled time and wear the proper uniform.
Follow event instructions from the Premium Services Coordinator and/or Banquet Manager.
Collect banquet equipment, including flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces.
Help prepare garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.
Clean and fill salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, and similar items.
Help prepare and set up event rooms when necessary.
Attend pre-function meetings and event briefings.
Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
Remain at the assigned station and perform duties according to the event.
Report customer concerns and complaints to a manager.
Break down equipment after each event, clean serving pieces, and return them to proper storage.
Follow company grooming standards and policies.
Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary.
