About The Position

Legends Global is hiring a part-time, event-related Suite Attendant at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The position provides catering service to suites and luxury boxes, with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction and retention. The attendant follows event instructions, assists with food and beverage preparation and room setup, provides courteous customer service, and cleans and stores equipment after events. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and may involve work inside or outside the building, depending on event needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of work experience in a service-oriented environment.
Ability to follow directions and perform the work effectively.
Pleasant personality and neat appearance.
Positive, customer service-oriented attitude.
Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
Work ethic that supports urgency and quality in a team environment.
Ability to work with other facility staff members.
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to move around the facility and stand for long periods during events.
Ability to stoop and lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Report to work at the scheduled time in the proper uniform.
Follow event instructions from the Premium Services Coordinator and/or Banquet Manager.
Assist in collecting banquet equipment, including flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces.
Assist with preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.
Assist with cleaning and filling salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, and similar items.
Assist with event room preparation and setup when necessary.
Attend pre-function meetings and event briefings.
Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
Remain at the assigned station and perform duties as directed for each event.
Report customer concerns or complaints to a manager.
Break down equipment after each event.
Clean and return serving pieces to the proper storage area.
Follow company grooming standards and policies, including dress code standards.
Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary.
