About The Position

The Suite Attendant takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests at Texas A&M University Athletics in College Station, Texas. The role involves providing warm, prompt service, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, assisting guests with menu and dietary questions, and coordinating with kitchen and other staff. The position is with Levy, a member of Compass Group USA.

Responsibilities

Promptly and warmly greet dining room guests and take food and beverage orders while following established steps of service.
Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards, and follow up to assist with additional needs.
Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink combinations, accommodate reasonable requests, and provide information about specialized diets and allergens as needed.
Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
Communicate effectively and remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
Collect tickets and follow cash-handling procedures.
Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests.
Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Set up the dining room before and after service and keep the area clean while meeting sanitation standards.
Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
Work with staff from other departments to perform duties during special events and functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
