About The Position
The Concessions Cook prepares, presents, and serves food as needed at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The role supports Levy’s food and beverage operations, preparing food and providing friendly, efficient customer service while following food quality, portion-control, sanitation, safety, inventory, and cash-control standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding them.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas using proper wrapping, dating, food-safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure food quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined steps of service.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
- Follow company service standards and inventory and cash-control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
