Part-time substitute teaching work in licensed preschools and daycare centers in Mequon, Wisconsin, and surrounding areas, including Thiensville, Cedarburg, Grafton, and Germantown. The role supports infants, toddlers, and preschoolers ages 0–5—not K–12 students. Substitute teachers fill in when center staff are absent and help provide care and early learning through play and classroom activities. Shifts typically last 4 to 8 hours and fall between 6 AM and 6 PM. Workers can choose the centers, days, and hours that suit their schedules. No teaching license, lesson planning, grading, or test administration is required. Paid training and onboarding are provided, with opportunities to gain experience across multiple early childhood programs. Pay is $16–$17 per hour, up to $136 per day, with bonuses of up to $300 during the first 90 days, additional hour-milestone payouts, and mileage reimbursement for eligible travel.
