The Sub Team Player works assigned shifts at a Planet Fitness club based on stated availability and business needs. The role supports club operations by maintaining cleanliness and a safe, welcoming atmosphere; assisting members and prospects; enforcing club policies; and helping with memberships, inventory, cash handling, and equipment and amenity use. Subs do not have a set schedule and must work at least 4 hours per month and no more than 20 hours per week. Shifts may be scheduled during normal club hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight, and hours may change based on business needs. Subs must submit an availability form upon hire, provide at least seven days’ notice of availability changes, and respond to shift offers within 24 hours. Employment may be terminated for failure to meet minimum scheduling requirements, no work within the last 60 calendar days, or declining three consecutive shifts they had indicated they were available to work. This is a part-time, nonexempt position. The role operates in a fitness club environment and uses standard office and custodial equipment. The club may be loud regularly. No travel is expected. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
