About The Position
The Networks of Mid-Missouri is seeking part-time Studio Assistants with interest in Newscast Directing to help in the production of our morning and evening newscasts.
Requirements
- Knowledge of newscast production techniques
- Strong management skills
- Ability to multi-task while leading the behind-the-scenes crew of live newscasts
- Valid Missouri driver’s license
- Pass a drug test and background check
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with Chyron graphic products
- Basic media production skills
- Related coursework in television/radio
Responsibilities
- Direction and technical direction of newscasts
- Pre-production
- Graphic production
- Robotic camera operation
- Audio board operation
- Video editing software operation
- Teleprompter operation
- Other duties as assigned
