About The Position

This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach the course 'Contrôle neural du mouvement humain' (APA3550) during the Fall 2026 academic period. The course explores the scientific study of human movement by examining the relationship between the brain and motor behavior. It delves into theories and investigative methods for understanding the fundamental mechanisms and principles of human movement control from neurophysiological, cognitive, and dynamic perspectives. The teaching mode is hybrid, combining virtual and in-person instruction on campus.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Human Kinetics (Motor control) or a related field.
  • 3 credits of teaching.
  • 39 hours of teaching per semester.
  • Competence in the second language (French).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience teaching in a university setting is preferred.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational requirements and/or demonstrated experience.
