About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach PSY7108: Multicultural Psychology during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on issues related to the assessment and treatment of multicultural populations, including theoretical frameworks and practical aspects of multicultural counseling. The course component is a lecture and is offered in person.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in multicultural psychology
  • Experience teaching and training clinical psychology students at the graduate level
  • Demonstrated competency incorporating equity, diversity, and inclusion principles in teaching and/or training

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in clinical psychology
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • Formal training in anti-racist, anti-discriminatory, anti-oppressive, and inclusive practices

Responsibilities

  • Teach PSY7108: Multicultural Psychology
  • Incorporate equity, diversity, and inclusion principles in teaching and/or training
  • Maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual)
  • Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be canceled
  • Arrange a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence
