About The Position
This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach Lifespan Psychology (PSY2114, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers developmental psychology from birth to old age and is expected to have an enrolment of 200 students. The course is offered in person and will be taught in English.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Advanced knowledge of the course content area (Lifespan Psychology)
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
- Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).

- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Lifespan Psychology (PSY2114, Section A00).
- Maintain the assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
- Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
- Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
