About The Position

The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Lifespan Psychology (PSY2114, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 semester. This course covers developmental psychology from birth to old age. The position is online and scheduled for Mondays from 19:00 to 22:00. Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Advanced knowledge of the course content area (Lifespan Psychology)
  • Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
  • Apply using your worker profile in Workday if currently an active employee of the University of Ottawa.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Lifespan Psychology (PSY2114, Section B00) online.
  • Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (online).
  • Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
  • Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
