About The Position
The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor to teach PSY3108: Perception during the Fall 2026 semester. This course explores the problem of perception, including the nature of perceptual phenomena, principles of perception, and its psychological, physiological, and philosophical aspects. The course is scheduled to be delivered in-person on Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a lab session from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology with a thesis in Perception or Cognition.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
- Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).

Responsibilities

- Maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
- Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat promptly if a class needs to be canceled.
- Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in advance of any known absence.
