About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach Sectoral Issues in Public Policy (PAP3350, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 academic period. The course focuses on consolidating and mobilizing theoretical knowledge through selected sectoral public policy, which may vary according to contemporary issues in Canadian public administration. The course is scheduled for Fridays from 14:30 to 17:30 and will be offered in person, though the teaching method may be modified due to public health measures or other reasons. The expected enrollment is 74 students, and the course is worth 3 credits. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025 rates), which does not include vacation or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31.

Requirements

Ph.D. or Ph.D. coursework in the field of the course.
Teaching experience in the field.
Competence in a second language (active).
Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
