Strategic Partner Manager, Ads Partnerships

Meta•San Francisco, CA
•$131,000 - $190,000

About The Position

Meta is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager to join its Monetization Partnerships team and own a scaled portfolio of third-party commerce platforms, data providers, marketplace connectors, and automation partners. The role operates across Meta’s monetization priorities, managing work across multiple product areas and sequencing it according to impact and business needs rather than focusing on a single area. The manager will own partner roadmaps, drive adoption of Meta’s conversion signals, catalog, video, and agentic solutions, and represent partners in product forums where roadmap decisions are made. The position involves building partner integrations and revenue contribution, providing technical solutions guidance, coordinating cross-functional teams, and developing go-to-market plans and scalable partner programs. The role also requires efficient portfolio management, executive-level communication, and identifying and mitigating partnership risks while ensuring compliance with Meta policies and platform requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, product, or a related field.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of multiple concurrent partner relationships at scale.
  • Understanding of the advertising and marketing technology ecosystem, including conversion signals, product catalogs, and advertising APIs.
  • Technical knowledge of APIs, data integration, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Communication and interpersonal experience, including negotiating with and influencing external partners.
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience, including interpreting complex data sets and making trade-off decisions with incomplete information.
  • Experience working across multiple product areas or business lines simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices, such as risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
  • Experience with offline or first-party data partnerships, customer data platforms (CDPs), or vertical data providers in areas such as automotive, retail, or healthcare.
  • Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact, such as efficiency gains or quality improvements.
  • Experience designing or running scaled partner incentives or go-to-market programs.
  • Ongoing AI skill development, such as prompt or context engineering and agent orchestration, and staying current with emerging AI technologies.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools, including agentic tools and Excel, for opportunity sizing and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with privacy and data-handling standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and partnership agreement development.
  • Familiarity with Meta’s advertising products.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end relationships for a scaled portfolio of third-party partners, including commerce platforms, point-of-sale providers, data providers, marketplace connectors, and automation tools.
  • Drive partner adoption across multiple monetization priority areas.
  • Build and scale conversion signal partnerships from early integration through measurable revenue contribution.
  • Set and sequence each partner’s integration roadmap against Meta’s evolving product goals, making trade-off decisions about partner prioritization across programs.
  • Provide partners with solutions guidance on integrating with APIs and agentic connectors.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, Partner Marketing, Legal, and Sales to unblock integrations and shape roadmap priorities from the partner perspective.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products and features, including scaled partner incentive programs, to drive measurable adoption and revenue growth.
  • Manage a scaled partner portfolio efficiently, concentrating depth where goals are strongest and building repeatable, leverageable approaches across the rest.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including presenting to executive stakeholders internally and at partner organizations.
  • Identify and mitigate partnership risks and ensure compliance with Meta policies and platform requirements.
