About The Position
The Store Team Member supports a positive store experience for guests and their pets by providing helpful customer service, assisting with product selection, processing purchases and returns, and maintaining inventory. The role may include cashier, stocking, and pet wash duties, including helping pet parents use self-wash stations and performing walk-in nail trims. Team members provide backup to coworkers as needed and must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Pass a drug screening in applicable states.
- Be knowledgeable about animals and products to provide customer service.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a positive, outgoing, helpful attitude.
- Help customers find products and recommend merchandise based on their needs.
- Accept and process orders, operate the POS register, and resolve return issues.
- Promote special sales, offers, and the rewards program.
- Stock and catalog products and enter inventory data into computer systems.
- Help pet parents navigate self-wash stations and explain the washing process.
- Stock bathing supply caddies.
- Provide backup to teammates when extra help is needed.
- Perform walk-in nail trimming services.
