About The Position

Wag N’ Wash is hiring a Store Team Member to help customers and their pets have a positive store experience. The role supports guests in finding products, provides merchandise recommendations, handles transactions and returns, promotes sales and the rewards program, and helps maintain inventory. Team members also assist pet parents with self-wash stations, explain the washing process, and replenish bathing supplies. The position may also include providing walk-in nail trimming services. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and pass a drug screening where applicable.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Pass a drug screening in states where applicable.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be knowledgeable about animals and products to provide customer service.
• Provide support to coworkers when extra help is needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a positive, outgoing, ready-to-help attitude.
• Help customers find products and recommend merchandise based on their needs.
• Accept and process orders, operate the POS register, and resolve return issues.
• Promote special sales, offers, and the rewards program.
• Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging products, including entering data into computer systems.
• Help pet parents use self-wash stations and explain the washing process.
• Stock bathing supply caddies.
• Provide backup support to coworkers when extra help is needed.
• Perform walk-in nail trimming services.
