About The Position

The Store Team Member supports a positive store experience for guests and their pets by providing customer service, product guidance, cashiering, stocking, and assistance with self-wash stations. The role may also include performing walk-in nail trimming services. Team members help customers find products, process transactions and returns, promote sales and rewards, manage inventory, and keep bathing supplies stocked. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and pass a drug screening where applicable.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Pass a drug screening in applicable states.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be knowledgeable about animals and products to provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a positive, outgoing, ready-to-help attitude.
• Help customers find products and recommend merchandise based on their needs.
• Accept and process orders, operate the POS register, and resolve return issues.
• Promote special sales, offers, and the rewards program.
• Stock and catalog products, including entering data into computer systems.
• Help pet parents use self-wash stations and explain the washing process.
• Stock bathing supply caddies.
• Provide backup support when extra help is needed.
• Perform walk-in nail trimming services.
