About The Position

The Store Team Member supports a welcoming store experience for customers and their pets by assisting with product selection, checkout, inventory, and self-wash services. The role may include cashier, stocker, and pet wash attendant duties. Team members provide friendly, knowledgeable service and help pet parents use self-wash stations. Walk-in nail trimming services may also be performed.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Pass a drug screening in applicable states.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have knowledge of animals and products to provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a positive, outgoing, helpful attitude.
• Help customers find products and recommend merchandise based on their needs.
• Accept and process orders, operate the POS register, and resolve return issues.
• Promote special sales, offers, and the rewards program.
• Stock and catalog products, including entering data into computer systems.
• Help pet parents use self-wash stations and explain the washing process.
• Stock bathing supply caddies.
• Provide backup support to coworkers when extra help is needed.
• Perform walk-in nail trimming services.
