About The Position

The Store Team Member supports store operations and helps customers and their pets have a positive store experience. The role includes customer service, sales support, register operations, inventory tasks, and assistance with self-wash stations. Team members may also perform walk-in nail trimming services.

Requirements

• Be knowledgeable about animals and products to provide outstanding customer service.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be at least 16 years old.
• Pass a drug screening in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a positive, outgoing, ready-to-help attitude.
• Help customers find products and recommend merchandise based on their needs.
• Accept and process orders, operate the POS register, and resolve return issues.
• Promote special sales, offers, and the rewards program.
• Stock and catalog products, including entering information into computer systems.
• Help pet parents use self-wash stations and explain the washing process.
• Stock bathing supply caddies.
• Provide backup support to teammates when extra help is needed.
• Perform walk-in nail trimming services.
