About The Position
The Store Supervisor is a key member of the management team who runs daily store operations when the General Manager or Assistant Manager is away. The supervisor leads shifts, develops the team, and ensures the store is guest-ready from opening to closing. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position in Enterprise, Nevada, reporting to the General Manager or Assistant Manager. The role requires availability for approximately 35 or more hours per week, including weekends and holidays. 85°C Bakery Cafe is a global bakery cafe known for fresh-baked breads, signature cakes, and specialty drinks. The company promotes from within and offers cross-training, leadership development, and opportunities for advancement. The position involves moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements, including the extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers. Duties may change or new duties may be assigned at any time.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Organized and dependable, with confidence making decisions.
- Strong communication, training, and customer-service skills.
- Available to work approximately 35 or more hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of restaurant or retail experience preferred.
- Previous lead experience is a plus.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations in partnership with management, from opening to closing.
- Build team schedules, train employees, and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Drive sales and manage inventory.
- Keep the store clean, stocked, and guest-ready.
- Support hiring, coaching, and day-to-day employee performance on the floor.
- Ensure company standards and policies are met on every shift.
