About The Position

85°C Bakery Cafe is recruiting a Store Management Team member for its Santee location. Store Management leads store operations, including customer service, cost management, and employee training, and takes responsibility for business performance. The role supports sales profitability through excellent service and lean operations while maintaining standards for quality, hygiene, and health and safety. Store associates are expected to cross-train in the Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar departments. Additional duties may be assigned as circumstances require.

Requirements

• At least two years of progressive experience in fast food or another related food operation in a leadership-level position.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines amid new or changing demands.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Good attendance and availability to work overtime when needed.
• Excellent work ethic and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the 85°C concept.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead.
• Ability to work around unusual elements, including extreme temperatures in coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the business performance of the store.
• Ensure sales profitability through service excellence and lean operations.
• Prepare periodic reports, including sales control and employee scheduling.
• Organize and supervise employee shifts.
• Participate in management and personnel meetings.
• Check stock levels and order supplies and materials.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
• Cross-train in the Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar departments.
• Perform additional store duties as circumstances dictate.
