About The Position

The Store Shift Supervisor helps lead the Wag N' Wash team, supports team members, and provides customer service to pet parents and their pets. The role models company values, helps maintain compliance with personnel policies and procedures, assigns tasks, and supports team members in managing their time. Store operations include placing special orders, filling online orders, notifying customers when orders are ready, completing assignments from leadership, reconciling cash drawers, and completing end-of-day reports. The supervisor is also expected to perform walk-in nail-trimming services and may be asked to trim pets’ nails.

Requirements

At least 2 years of retail experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong sales and customer-service skills.
Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work flexible schedules.
Reliable transportation.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass drug screening where allowed by law.

Responsibilities

Lead team members by example and ensure the team understands and embodies company values.
Ensure team members comply with personnel policies and procedures in the Team Member Handbook.
Assign tasks and help team members manage their time.
Place special orders, fill online orders, and notify customers when orders are ready.
