About The Position

The Store Shift Supervisor supports store leadership by leading team members by example, reinforcing company values and personnel policies, assigning tasks, and helping the team manage time and productivity. The role also supports daily store operations, including special orders, online orders, customer notifications, cash-drawer reconciliation, and end-of-day reporting. The supervisor is expected to provide strong customer service to pet parents and their pets and to perform walk-in nail-trimming services.

Requirements

At least 2 years of retail experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong sales and customer-service skills.
Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work flexible schedules.
Reliable transportation.
Must pass drug screening where allowed by law.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Lead team members by example and ensure they understand and embody company values.
Ensure team members comply with Wag N' Wash personnel policies and procedures in the Team Member Handbook.
Assign tasks and help team members manage their time.
Place special orders and fill online orders.
Notify customers when orders are ready.
Complete assignments as directed by leadership.
Reconcile cash drawers and execute end-of-day reports.
Perform walk-in nail-trimming services, including nail trims for pets.
