About The Position

As a Merchandising Lead, you will execute sales floor merchandising, pricing, and recovery while delivering excellent customer service. As an expert in assigned departments, you will carry out merchandising processes while maintaining brand standards and a focus on customer service. The role also includes supporting associate training and partnering with other associates to merchandise incoming products with a focus on customer experience. All Lead roles at Kohl’s are responsible for acting with integrity and fostering teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture; using sound judgment; demonstrating a customer-service mindset; leading by example in meeting or exceeding individual goals; maintaining operational, shortage-mitigation, and merchandising standards; completing multiple tasks within established timeframes; reinforcing company policies and procedures; and following safety policies. The position requires completing company training, following dress code and scheduling requirements, maintaining prompt and regular attendance, and performing the listed duties and physical requirements. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform the role's listed accountabilities and satisfactorily complete company training programs.
Ability to comply with dress-code requirements.
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer-operation skills.
Ability to operate and communicate using multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet company scheduling requirements.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with a two-person lift.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift, at least 8 hours.
Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
Ability to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Execute store merchandising standards in accordance with merchandise and visual guidelines for product presentation.
Maintain appropriate sales-floor product levels through remerchandising and replenishment based on sell-through and seasonal changes.
Complete merchandising accurately and on time according to company guidelines and brand standards.
Execute pricing activities, including price changes, sign changes, and ticketing, accurately and efficiently.
Follow and ensure adherence to product-protection standards, guidelines, and company policies intended to minimize product loss.
Support associate training on merchandising standards, product knowledge, and tools, as directed by store leadership.
Partner with associates to merchandise incoming products with a focus on customer experience.
Act with integrity, honesty, and teamwork, and contribute to an engaged and inclusive culture.
Use good judgment and discernment when making decisions, involving appropriate partners as needed.
Demonstrate a customer-service mindset by anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issues.
Lead by example by personally meeting or exceeding individual goals, including productivity, credit, and loyalty goals.
Maintain strong operational standards, shortage mitigation, merchandising presentation, accurate pricing, and proper signing.
