About The Position

Meta Lab Retail creates immersive, hands-on technology experiences in premium shopping destinations, featuring Meta Smart Glasses and Quest mixed-reality products. The Store Manager leads a compact, high-impact team to provide world-class product demonstrations, build meaningful customer relationships, and achieve measurable business results. The role balances customer engagement, people development, operational excellence, and business performance while upholding Meta’s brand standards and customer promise. This is experiential rather than transactional retail.

The Store Manager guides a high-performing team in small-format locations situated in premier malls and outdoor lifestyle centers. Channel Partners, Meta Retail’s exclusive talent and operations partner, builds and leads the teams delivering these experiences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of retail sales management experience.
• Proven success leading customer-facing retail teams.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen and data-driven decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skill in performance management and conflict resolution.
• Adaptability and self-motivation.
• Passion for technology and customer excellence.
• Flexible availability and ability to be on call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver immersive product demonstrations, build authentic customer relationships, and make every interaction a Meta-branded experience.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire, and develop high-potential talent.
• Provide ongoing coaching, foster accountability and collaboration, and model professionalism and strong communication.
• Drive sales and conversion metrics, turning traffic into engagement and revenue.
• Analyze performance data and adjust strategies.
• Maintain operational excellence in scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert on Meta wearable and mixed-reality products, stay current on innovations, communicate product value propositions, and explain complex technology simply to customers.
• Set clear expectations, hold the team accountable, and represent the Meta brand professionally in high-visibility environments.
