About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Manager for the Belgrade Travel Plaza. The manager provides customer service, oversees store operations and staff, and helps achieve company standards and business goals. Responsibilities span sales and expense oversight, inventory and cash control, employee hiring and training, merchandising, store upkeep, and administrative work.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, communicate with customers, resolve complaints and inquiries, fill in for absent employees, and answer and screen telephone calls.
Make supervisory decisions consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures.
Assist with planning, leadership, organization, and follow-up for controllable expenses, sales increases, inside gross margin, shortage controls, promotional programs, and competitor monitoring.
Complete daily bookwork using a computer to record employee, inventory, and sales information.
Maintain security of store assets and control cash, fuel, inventories, merchandise, and labor hours.
Hire, train, and orient new employees; discipline or terminate problem employees.
Order supplies and merchandise; inventory and invoice merchandise; key in daily sales; and receive, price, stock, display, and rotate inventory.
Perform store maintenance and basic repairs, make bank deposits, and do light cleaning of the store and restrooms.
Set an exemplary example for coworkers through professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in customer service and convenience store operations.
Maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
