About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Co-Manager to assist the store manager with supervisory decisions consistent with company standards, policies, and procedures. The role supports planning and leadership in expense control, sales growth, inside gross margins, shortage controls, promotional programs, and competitor monitoring. It also involves staffing and daily store operations, administrative work, inventory and cash controls, employee training, and resolving employee conflicts. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Assist the store manager in making supervisory decisions consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures.
Assist with planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-up concerning controllable expenses, sales increases, inside gross margins, shortage controls, promotional programs, and competitor monitoring.
Help maintain adequate staffing and fill in for absent employees as required.
Answer telephone calls, clean the store and restrooms, and stock coolers and shelves.
Make bank deposits as required and maintain daily bookwork, using a computer to record employee, inventory, and sales information.
Order supplies and merchandise as assigned.
Prioritize, organize, delegate, and follow up on store tasks for assigned shifts.
Document coaching, disciplining, and/or termination of problem employees.
Maintain security of store assets and control cash, fuel, inventory, merchandise, and labor hours.
Follow up on risk analysis and camera systems as required.
Supervise new employee training and orientation as assigned.
Respond promptly and professionally when evaluating and resolving employee conflict.
Complete other duties as assigned by management.
