About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated, outgoing Store Bookkeeper to support store accounting and office operations at the Belgrade Travel Plaza. The role assists the store manager with accounting decisions and helps plan, organize, and follow up on office procedures, vendor invoicing, computer data entry, and shortage controls. The Store Bookkeeper also sets an example of professionalism, a positive attitude, teamwork, customer service, and convenience-store operations.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Assist the store manager in implementing accounting decisions consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures.
Assist with planning, leadership, organization, and follow-up for office procedures, vendor invoicing, computer data entry, and shortage controls.
Set an exemplary example for coworkers in professionalism, attitude, teamwork, customer service, and convenience-store operations.
Prioritize, organize, and follow up on office tasks.
Maintain security of store assets and control the store cash fund, fuel, and inventories; audit shift reports.
Complete accounts receivable transactions, including counting money, completing deposit slips, banking, and closeouts.
Complete store paperwork accurately, including daily reports, daily purchases, mark-ups and mark-downs, and inventory adjustments.
Order office supplies to maintain effective stock levels.
Process store invoices, audit costs and retail prices, and enter purchases into the computer.
Record sales and purchases in the store’s running book and make computer entries.
Balance store records to office reports and verify payroll timecards.
Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
