About The Position

Sally Beauty is seeking a Store Manager to lead a team in a creative, team-oriented retail environment. The manager is responsible for managing talent, inspiring and developing associates, and ensuring customers receive an excellent experience and tailored solutions for their hair and beauty needs.

The Store Manager oversees store operations to meet or exceed sales goals, maintain the assigned budget, control expenses, grow sales, and manage inventory. The role also includes ensuring staff follow safety and security procedures and company policies to protect customers, associates, and store assets, and keeping the store looking its best.

The position requires physical activity including prolonged standing and walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items. The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation. The role may involve exposure to fumes, odors, and irritant chemicals, and working around moving parts, carts, or machines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Cosmetology license is a plus but is not required.
