About The Position

The Store Manager is an on-the-floor leader who performs store functions while guiding and serving as a role model for the team. The manager coaches, develops, and inspires associates to represent Sunglass Hut and deliver the Sunglass Hut Experience, creating an environment where excellent service translates into sales. The role develops the store’s strategic plan, drives sales and financial results, maintains brand and operational standards, and builds customer relationships. The manager spends an average of 100% of their time on the sales floor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of previous leadership experience.
Demonstrated expertise in every aspect of store operations.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to use critical thinking to deliver accurate execution of store operational components.

Responsibilities

Use The Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver the sales plan and company objectives.
Develop the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results.
Drive sales by identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals.
Coach, develop, mentor, and inspire the team to improve store performance.
Foster teamwork, career development, and talent retention through a development-focused environment.
Network, recruit, hire according to staffing needs, and train associates using the provided onboarding tools.
Create individual development plans to support team growth.
Create an inspirational and motivating work environment that reflects the brand’s integrity.
Build an emotional connection within the store team that supports sales and consistent delivery of The Sunglass Hut Experience.
Spend an average of 100% of time on the sales floor.
Continually coach and develop the team to ensure consistent execution of The Sunglass Hut Experience.
Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
Act as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand and consistently execute brand standards.
Stay knowledgeable about products, new merchandise, and fashion trends.
Ensure the team is prepared to represent the brand.
Ensure operational policies and procedures are executed impeccably and maintain brand standards.
Communicate promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.
