About The Position

The Store Manager is an on-the-floor leader who performs store functions while guiding and role-modeling for the team. The manager coaches, develops, and inspires associates to serve as ambassadors for Sunglass Hut and creates an environment where everyone delivers the Sunglass Hut Experience and great customer service. Through leadership, energy, and timely decision-making, the manager helps associates deliver experiences that translate into sales.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of previous leadership experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in every aspect of store operations.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to use critical thinking to deliver precise execution of store operational components.

Responsibilities

• Use Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver the sales plan and company objectives.
• Develop the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results.
• Drive sales by identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals.
• Coach, develop, mentor, and inspire the team to improve store performance.
• Grow careers, encourage teamwork, and retain talent through a development-focused environment.
• Network, recruit, hire to staffing needs, and train associates using the provided onboarding tools.
• Create individual development plans to support team growth.
• Create an inspirational and motivating work environment that reflects the brand’s integrity.
• Build an emotional connection within the store team that supports sales and consistent delivery of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
• Spend an average of 100% of time on the sales floor.
• Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
• Act as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand and consistently execute brand standards.
• Stay knowledgeable about products and current merchandise and fashion trends.
• Ensure impeccable execution of operational policies and procedures and maintain brand standards.
• Communicate promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.
