About The Position

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you lead a team-oriented and dynamic store environment, manage talent, inspire and develop associates, and ensure customers receive an unforgettable experience and tailored solutions for their hair and beauty needs. You oversee store operations to meet or exceed sales goals, maintain the assigned budget, control expenses, grow sales, and manage inventory. You also ensure staff follow safety, security, and company policies to protect customers, associates, and store assets, and keep the store looking its best.

The role involves physical activity, including extended periods of standing and walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items. It may involve working around moving parts, carts, or machines and occasional exposure to fumes, odors, or irritant chemicals. Employees must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Cosmetology license is a plus but is not required.
