About The Position

The Store Manager leads a team-oriented retail store focused on hair and beauty products, creating a positive customer experience and helping customers find solutions for their hair and beauty needs. The manager oversees store operations and works to meet or exceed sales goals by maintaining the assigned budget, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory. The role also includes developing and inspiring associates, ensuring staff follow safety and security procedures and company policies, and maintaining the appearance of the store.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand for long periods; walk; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, and perform similar activities; and repeatedly lift moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Must be able to work around moving parts, carts, or machines and may occasionally be exposed to irritant chemicals, fumes, or odors.

Nice To Haves

• A cosmetology license is a plus but is not required.
