About The Position

Sally Beauty is seeking a Store Manager to lead a team in a dynamic, team-oriented retail environment. The manager inspires and develops associates, manages talent, and ensures customers receive an unforgettable experience and customized solutions for their hair and beauty needs.

The Store Manager oversees store operations to meet or exceed sales goals, including maintaining the assigned budget, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory. The role also involves ensuring staff follow safety, security, and company policies to protect customers, associates, and store assets, and keeping the store looking its best.

The position involves physical exertion, including extended periods of standing and walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and similar activities; and lifting moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The manager may work around moving parts, carts, or machines and may occasionally be exposed to fumes, odors, or irritant chemicals. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Cosmetology license is a plus but is not required.
