About The Position

The Store Management role is a development-focused position designed to prepare the employee for a future CVS Store Manager role. The 16-week program combines self-paced and collaborative training with virtual and hands-on learning experiences. Development is supported by a District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach. Selection does not guarantee promotion; promotion timing depends on factors including performance and available openings. Candidates must be willing to accept a Store Manager promotion anywhere within the designated market and transfer among CVS Pharmacy stores in that market.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor.
Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager at any location in the designated market.
Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

A four-year college degree is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

Communicate verbally and in writing to support and lead the team.
Perform customer care duties and provide high levels of service.
Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
Engage actively with the leader in Key Learning Experiences during the structured development program.
Support the store as a member of the management team and lead consistently with CVS values and policies.
Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
