About The Position

The Store Leader is the heart and soul of the store and, together with one or more Assistant Store Leaders, forms the store’s leadership team. This role executes merchandising and marketing initiatives, drives profitability, develops the skills of the store team, and ensures customers receive good service. The Store Leader Trainee role offers training and development toward store management and is suited to candidates with supervisory experience who want to work as part of a management team.

Requirements

Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
Ability to support employee retention, identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and encourage productivity.
Ability to oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs.
Demonstrated ability to use profit-and-loss information and store reports to affect change.
Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program.
Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and presentable environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures and keeping products in stock.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance maintained during employment.
Ability to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.
