About The Position

The Store Leader is a central member of the store leadership team, working with one or more Assistant Store Leaders to execute merchandising and marketing initiatives, drive profitability, develop the store team, and ensure customers receive excellent service. The role includes completing training and learning the business, with opportunities for advancement through the company’s promote-from-within philosophy. 7-Eleven is hiring immediately.

Requirements

Previous supervisory experience.
Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching.
Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and rewards loyalty program promotion.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer knowledge; Microsoft products such as Word and Excel are preferred.
A valid driver’s license from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance throughout employment.
Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for store employees.
Support employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
Oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs.
Use profit-and-loss information and store reports to effect change.
Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program.
Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store by following health and sanitation procedures and ensuring products are in stock.
