About The Position

As a Seasonal Store Cleaning & Operations Associate at Kohl’s, you will help ensure a safe and clean environment throughout the store. You will complete daily cleaning tasks efficiently and follow company standards, procedures, and guidelines. You will also support operational processes as needed to contribute to an excellent customer experience. The role requires morning and afternoon availability. Associates must be able to meet scheduling requirements and maintain prompt, regular attendance. The listed pay range is $16.45–$21.40. Kohl’s offers benefits to associates depending on full-time or part-time status and hours worked.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
No retail experience is required.
Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; role information also specifies morning and afternoon availability.
Ability to perform the role’s accountabilities and satisfactorily complete company training programs.
Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
Ability to operate and communicate using multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet company scheduling requirements.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to withstand exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties, including stockroom operations and truck unloading.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with a two-person lift.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
Ability to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Clean store areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, according to company standards and procedures.
Use only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Monitor chemical and supply levels, place replenishment orders when needed, and ensure supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers.
Complete and maintain required training for chemicals, equipment, and maintenance.
Perform basic equipment maintenance in accordance with company guidelines.
Use Kohl’s tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
Support the operations team with receiving and processing products, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment as needed.
Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services.
Act with integrity and honesty and foster teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture.
Use good judgment when making decisions and involve appropriate partners as needed.
Anticipate customer needs and resolve issues satisfactorily.
Meet or exceed individual goals, including productivity, credit, and loyalty goals.
Complete multiple tasks within established timeframes.
