About The Position

In this seasonal role, you will help maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the store by completing daily cleaning tasks and operational processes as needed to support an excellent customer experience. You will use approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment; maintain and replenish supplies; complete required training; and perform basic equipment maintenance. You will also support receiving and product processing, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment as needed, while engaging customers and assisting them with products and services. All Kohl’s associate roles involve acting with integrity and fostering teamwork in an inclusive culture; exercising sound judgment; providing customer-focused service; working toward individual goals; completing multiple tasks within established timeframes; following company policies and safety requirements; and responding proactively to direction from supervisors, managers, and other company personnel. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The role requires completing training, complying with dress code and safety requirements, maintaining prompt and regular attendance, and meeting scheduling requirements. Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements. Physical duties include frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional lifting of more than 50 pounds with a two-person lift, frequent bending and other movements, and standing or walking for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
Ability to operate and communicate on multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to work amid varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements during certain duties.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with a two-person lift.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
No retail experience is required.
Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Clean all areas of the store, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, following company standards and procedures.
Use only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Monitor, order, rotate, and properly store approved chemicals and supplies.
Complete required training related to chemicals, equipment, and maintenance.
Perform basic equipment maintenance according to company guidelines.
Use company tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
Support receiving and processing products, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment as needed.
Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services.
