About The Position

In this seasonal role, you will help ensure a safe and clean environment throughout the store by completing daily cleaning tasks and operational processes that support an excellent customer experience. You will clean store areas using approved supplies and equipment, maintain chemical and supply levels, complete required training and basic equipment maintenance, and assist the operations team with product processing, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment as needed. You will also engage customers and support Kohl’s customer-service, teamwork, safety, and operating standards.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Excellent customer-service skills and ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
Verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
Ability to operate and communicate using multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
Ability to withstand exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties, including stockroom operations and truck unloading.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
Ability to perform the responsibilities listed in the job description and satisfactorily complete required training.
Ability to comply with dress code requirements and company health and safety standards.
Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
No retail experience required.

Responsibilities

Clean all areas of the store, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, according to company standards and procedures.
Use only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Monitor approved chemicals and supplies, order replenishments when needed, and ensure supplies are rotated and stored in appropriate containers.
Complete and maintain required training for chemicals, equipment, and maintenance.
Perform basic equipment maintenance according to company guidelines.
Use Kohl’s tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
Support the operations team with receiving and processing product, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment as needed.
Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services.
Act with integrity and honesty, foster teamwork, and contribute to an engaged and inclusive culture.
Use good judgment when making decisions and involve appropriate partners as needed.
Anticipate customer needs and resolve issues satisfactorily while demonstrating a customer-service mindset.
