About The Position

In this seasonal role, the associate helps maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the store by completing daily cleaning tasks and operational processes that support an excellent customer experience. The role includes cleaning store areas, maintaining approved supplies and equipment, completing required training and basic maintenance, and assisting with product processing, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment as needed. Associates also greet customers and offer assistance. Early morning availability, including weekends, is required, with shifts starting at 6 a.m.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
No retail experience is required.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
Ability to operate and communicate using multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
Ability to perform the listed accountabilities and satisfactorily complete company training programs.
Ability to comply with dress code and health and safety requirements, including wearing personal protective equipment.
Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements.
Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift over 50 pounds with a two-person lift.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
Early morning availability, including weekends, with shifts starting at 6 a.m.; flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Clean store areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, according to company standards and procedures.
Use only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Monitor, order, rotate, and properly store approved chemicals and supplies.
Complete required training related to chemicals, equipment, and maintenance.
Perform routine basic equipment maintenance according to company guidelines.
Use company tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
Support receiving and processing product, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment as needed.
Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services.
Act with integrity and honesty and contribute to teamwork and an inclusive culture.
Use good judgment, seek appropriate partners when needed, and respond to customer needs and issues.
Meet or exceed individual goals and complete multiple tasks within established timeframes.
Follow company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and safety policies.
