About The Position

As a seasonal associate, you will help ensure a safe and clean environment throughout the store. You will perform daily cleaning tasks and complete operational processes as needed to support an excellent customer experience. The role also involves assisting the operations team with receiving and processing products, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment when needed, as well as engaging customers and offering assistance. You are expected to uphold Kohl’s standards for customer service, teamwork, safety, integrity, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The role requires completing company training, following scheduling and attendance requirements, and performing the essential functions described in the posting. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
Ability to operate and communicate using multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
Ability to withstand exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with a two-person lift.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
No retail experience is required.
Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Clean all areas of the store, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, following company standards and procedures.
Use only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Monitor approved chemical and supply levels, place replenishment orders when needed, and rotate and store supplies properly.
Complete and maintain required training for chemicals, equipment, and maintenance.
Perform basic equipment maintenance according to company guidelines.
Use Kohl’s tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
Support the operations team with receiving and processing products, stockroom operations, and omnichannel fulfillment as needed.
Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services.
Act with integrity and honesty and foster teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture.
Use good judgment when making decisions and involve appropriate partners as needed.
