About The Position

In this role, you will ensure a safe and clean environment in all areas of the store. You will perform daily store cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently and complete operational processes as needed to provide an excellent customer experience. The role also supports receiving and processing products, stockroom operations, and omni-channel fulfillment when needed, while engaging customers and offering assistance.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to perform the listed accountabilities and satisfactorily complete company training programs.
Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
Ability to operate and communicate on multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet company scheduling requirements.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to withstand varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
No retail experience required.

Responsibilities

Clean all areas of the store, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Use only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Maintain approved chemical and supply levels by ordering replenishments when needed and ensuring supplies are rotated and stored properly.
Complete and maintain required training for chemicals, equipment, and maintenance.
Perform routine basic equipment maintenance according to company guidelines.
Use company tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
Support the operations team with receiving and processing products, stockroom operations, and omni-channel fulfillment as needed.
Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services.
Act with integrity and honesty, foster teamwork, and contribute to an engaged and inclusive culture.
Use good judgment when making decisions and involve appropriate partners as needed.
Anticipate customer needs and resolve issues satisfactorily.
