About The Position
The Store Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store, with particular focus on floor care. The role includes operating floor-cleaning equipment and performing a variety of cleaning tasks throughout the store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, health and safety, and loss-prevention standards and is cross-trained to support multiple store areas as business needs require. The position also supports customer experience, store recovery, and front-end coverage.
Requirements

- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate a floor buffer and scrubber.
- Ability to multitask.

- Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities
- Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards, including operating and maintaining the scrubber and buffer.
- Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean glass and windows.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards throughout the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
- Refill essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End in accordance with health and safety policies.
- Work in other store areas as needed, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor.
- Support and respond to Front End coverage needs.
- Uphold merchandising and signage standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Follow operational and loss-prevention controls, including shrink-reduction guidelines and policies.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
- Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break period policies.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Model customer-experience practices and support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
